Bronny, I think the weird bits that you were reading in the blog have got to do with how your internet-reading software (the browser) reads the html code. Or it may have my fault-error in code; a reassuringly human touch methinks! but more importantly, YAAAAAAAaaaY holidays for you! hope they bring much fun! tell me of your adventures.

Shalome, I have wonderful hippy visions of you sweating about melbourne in an alpaca wool beanie with a big gold nose ring. reading arabic texts on the tram on your way to lonely planet, coming home to make arabic coffee for your artist/musician housemates. ahhh to be young and arty. Great to hear your news!

hi there shelley, your posts are wonderful - very illustrative, very charming. I hope that all is going well in sunny england (hehe) and that the obliging conductor was the only one to dampen your little spirits - never let anyone bully you into thinking you might have to walk - unless of course you'd like to, many poles I know certainly do. I am having great fun - snowed ten feet under with Arabic texts which I am meant either to summarise or translate, and seem to be spending a great percentage of my time wrestling with my dictionary - despite there being three other subjects which I am also meant to read for, and have interesting questions for the tutorials.

my nose stud is growing on me and already i am thinking of getting a new one, gold mabye:-). work is more hastle than a joy - spending long hours commuting to uni and back, and having to engage with that peculiar language for hours on end dont make a friday ofof data entry and telephone answering look very appealing. nevertheless, money has to be earnt somehow. My battles with centrelink continue.

this house is a gem. a real gem. it is big and airy, warm when it wants to be, cool if treated the right way. i am loving it. loving the freedom and yet the togetherness of the household. Well, this was meant to be a short one...i should have written an email...

hugs all round

(i'm going to wear a beany in solidarity!)

hey Shelley, I'm reading too - I don't often feel that I have anything relevant/interesting to add... but today I spent quite some time wondering what 't meant (can you tell that school hols have started?) - was this some code for rude words(almost fits with the contexts in which it occurs)? or some other symbolic language that I should be able to "read"? And then I realised it was an apostrophe ... is it a different keyboard?
Anyway, it is fun hearing bits and bobs about your travels, so please keep on singing loud into that microphone.
love Bronwen
